This page outlines general export and trade compliance information relevant to Buyers sourcing agro-commodities from Vaksana Enterprises for onward domestic distribution or export.
All export transactions facilitated through Vaksana Enterprises are conducted in accordance with India's prevailing Foreign Trade Policy, and relevant guidelines issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), as applicable to the commodity category.
Certain agro-commodities may be subject to minimum export price requirements, seasonal export restrictions, quota limits, or licensing requirements imposed by Indian regulatory authorities from time to time (for example, onions and select pulses have historically been subject to such measures). Buyers are advised that availability and export eligibility of a given commodity at the time of order is subject to the regulations in force on that date, and Vaksana will communicate any known restriction affecting a confirmed order at the earliest opportunity.
Merchant exporters and buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with the import regulations, phytosanitary requirements, customs duties, and licensing obligations of the destination country. Vaksana can support with standard export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate where applicable) but does not provide legal advice on destination-country import law.
Vaksana reserves the right to decline or suspend any transaction where the Buyer, consignee, or destination is subject to applicable trade sanctions, embargoes, or denied-party restrictions under Indian or relevant international law.
Export-bound orders will be accompanied by GST-compliant commercial invoicing and applicable trade documentation as agreed at the time of order confirmation. Additional certification (e.g. phytosanitary, fumigation, certificate of origin) can be arranged on request and may involve additional lead time and cost.
Vaksana shall not be liable for delay, non-delivery, or order modification arising from newly imposed export bans, minimum export price notifications, quota restrictions, or other government action beyond our reasonable control.
